Job Title: Game Capture Artist / Trailer Editor
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Job Type: Full-time
Magoo is seeking a talented and passionate Game Capture Artist / Trailer Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality gameplay footage, trailers, and marketing assets for upcoming video games. You will work closely with our creative team to ensure that all captured footage meets our quality standards and effectively showcases each game's unique features.
— Responsibilities
- Capture and edit high-quality gameplay footage, using industry-standard capture tools, for use in promotional materials and other marketing content
- Collaborate with the creative team to plan and execute capture sessions and trailer structure
- Ensure all captured footage meets our quality standards and aligns with the game's vision and marketing strategy
- Edit and organize captured footage for use in various marketing materials
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new capture technologies
— Requirements
- Proven experience as a Game Capture Artist / Trailer Editor or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of industry-standard game capture and editing software (e.g. Shadowplay, OBS, and Adobe Premiere Pro) If you´re familiar with Unreal or Unity, you´re definitely on our shortlist
- Strong video editing skills and proficiency with editing software (primarily Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in captured footage
- Passion for storytelling, cinematography, and video games
- Problem-solving mindset and understanding of game mechanics and design
- Knowledge of industry trends and new capture technologies
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the creative team
- Experience with VR gaming and VR capture is an advantage but not a requirement
